Det 1 - 396th ATRS - 'Military Club'

The Det 1 - 396th ATRS was implemented in the academic year 2019-2020 under the 'Operation MOHAVE FURY at Mohave MS in Scottsdale, AZ. The purpose is to educate Middle School students in the 7th and 8th Grade about the United States Armed Forces within each Service Branch, with emphasis placed on USAF due to unit of assignment. The Military Club Program was run by Senior-Explorer Cadets of the 396th Aircrew Training Squadron of Phoenix, Arizona. Those 8th-graders who graduated were given the opportunity to be automaticallly accepted into the Air Force Explorers Program as they entered High School.

Military Club Mission - The Military Club mission is to expose the Middle School student of the different career paths available between the Enlisted and Officer Corps of the different Military Branches.
